What is Android?
Probably the most basic question by anyone who hasn't read anything related to mobile phones / gadgets in the past 3 - 4 years.This is a mobile operating system. Android Inc. is actually a company founded in Palo Alto by Andy Rubin, Nick Sears, Rich Milner and Chris White. Its main aim was "..to develop smarter devices that are aware of its owner's location and preferences..", according to Andy Rubin. This company was acquired by El Goog in August 2005.
Why Android?
Probably the toughest question if this is asked to you by Apple fanboy.. Even tougher if his T-shirt doesn't have any buttons ;) Well actually it is a bit easier to answer. Android is the best thing to happen for a smartphone. As a user, you get wide variety of phones to choose from. You can choose phones based on your budget / requirements. Each phone or application is tailor-made according to your specific requirement. Most of the applications are available for free. Also there are few advantages for advanced users like - over-clocking your cpu / gpu, optimizing your resources, upgrading to latest OS very often, etc..
Now, let us match into the world of small green robot... !!
